what really amazes me is that we all started out at the same place. born roughly around the same time. spent roughly our childhood through teenaged years together and yet we’re all on such different paths. it’s amazing to look back and realize who has changed and who has stayed exactly the same. who becomes forgetable and who seems to forget. who left a whole when they left and who we move on to. i’m saddened knowing some of us have gained such high perceptions of ourselves or of what we try to do that we no longer see good in people we once cared for. i include myself in this sentiment. it’s unfortunate that time has taken us away from eachother, but it’s important to move on.

i believe each new day bring me a little more hope that i am on the right path. i look around and know this is not the apartment i want to be living in forever, but i know we have the same idea of getting out of this town and moving west. i’m glad i have fairly few people to hold me here. allowing oneself to move to the next step involves leaving behind people we thought we cared for, or we thought cared for us.

it is amazing to realize people who make themselves look like they love so greatly are really just feeding off getting that love back, so i’m done giving it out to these feeders.
